Les 2 Sabots - our bolthole in Normandy

We bought Les 2 Sabots with a view to spending a third of the year there when we retire, we love it, we hope you do too.  It is now available to let, further details are on this site.

The cottage (gite) is situated in a very small hamlet outside the village of Bréel, between Flers and Falaise in the heart of Suisse Normande (Swiss Normandy).

The property is a traditional stone built house with accommodation on three floors, with a secluded garden and breathtaking walks on the doorstep.

The nearest town of any size is Pont D'Ouilly, about 10 minutes away by car, there is a baker and other small shops in Ségrie Fontaine 5 minutes away by car.  Clécy with its riverside restaurants and walks is 15 minutes away.  The city of Caen and its ferry port, Bayeux and its famous tapestry and the D Day beaches are all about 45 minutes away.
